(This is a link to our Facebook group) This week we’re talking about family games. As 2/3 of us have young children we are always looking for games to buy to try out for them that they can play that aren’t intensely violent. I’m hoping we’ll also cover the way our kids play games these days with motion controls and finger control via iPad and other pointing devices versus controllers. Have you shown your kids an 8-bit game only to have them laugh in your face at the terrible graphics? Are you trying to get your significant other into playing game with you? If they do - tell us your secret! ;) Come on out this Wednesday night at 8:30pm EDT and bring your whole family - it’s gonna be great!
This week, Matt, Mathew, & Ian sit around the tv tray of doom, discussing the hottest bits of news that’ve come out of L.A. during this year’s E3 expo. We cover news from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft and give our opinions, good and bad, about it all. If you’re a gamer that wants a unique viewpoint on this year’s E3 news, look no further than this show! Thanks to cdownie, Failsafe, TOWDrac, JackiYo, Eyekwah, Miss_Bellatrix, tech_ninja, and deslack69 for coming out to support the live show. As always, send feedback to fans@gamesdaypodcast.com. Thanks for watching!
It’s no secret that Ian Sullivan is an expert at almost everything he touches. One of those things is the making of an almost perfect plate of ‘chos (the only thing that isn’t perfect about them is that there are never enough). In this GDP101, Ian breaks down his recipe for making chos for the bros. If you’ve a hankerin’ for an amazing gaming snack, watch this episode and learn from a culinary wizard. Matt feels the Need for Speed all the time, whether he’s outrunning the law in his Toyota Sienna minivan, or customizing it back in the garage with money he makes from street racing the beast, he is always all-in. In this episode, Matt talks about the good, the bad, and the ugly of Need for Speed: Nitro and the upcoming Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. As always, send feedback to fans@gamesdaypodcast.com.
Mathew, Matt, Ian, & Raph sit down this week to a play new, free game on the iPad, MultiPONG.
